October Spooktacular Books

I’ve selected some wonderful books to read in October – a combination of ghost stories, Gothic fiction and general “who-done-its.”

What’s on your reading shelf for October?

Your stack looks great! I have a huge pile for October too that includes some Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, and Ray Bradbury. Happy reading!

I only have two books on my list, since October is always a busy month at school. Those books are “Strangers” by Tamada and Stein’s “The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas”. It would be a success if I finish these two 🙂

I am reading Wendi Corsi Staub books’ this month.
I am not disappointed, her books are great, real thrillers.

Looks like a good mix. The Mistress of the Art of Death is one of my favorite series.

I’ve got a bunch of library holds on my list for the month….Doc, The Night Circus, Plugged. Also Gone with the Wind and hopefully American Gods.

Fun photo! The only one I’ve read is Case Histories, which I loved. I’ve read others by Joe Hill and Chris Bohjalian though and hope to get to these two someday too. Enjoy!

I’ve read three of these and enjoyed them all. My favorite was Kings of the Earth but I’ve been a fan of Jon Clinch’s since I read his first novel, Finn.

I do believe all of those books are on my TBR. I’ll look forward to your reviews to decide which ones to move up the pile!
